Biomesotherapy/Biopuncture

Biomesotherapy/Biopuncture is a new type of therapy consisting of the use of homeopathic products and the stimulation of specific points of the body with an injection of saline solution. Most of the injections are given are under the skin (subcutaneous) or in the muscles. Certain points such as Acupuncture and trigger points are used along with specific local pain points. Biomesotherapy is similar to Homeosinatry (Acupuncture combined with Homeopathy) and Neuraltherapy except for injection points, depth of application, and use of homeopathies.

Biomesotherapy stimulates what is known as the cutivisceral response. Oral homeopathic medicines are given simultaneouslywhich focus on the organ or tissue requiring treatment. Upon application BMT stimulates your own body’s healing mechanisms speeding up the process of injury recovery and repair. It is very effective for PAIN relief and has been shown to be comparable to cortisone therapy without the added side effects.

Homotoxicology was founded in 1952 from Dr Reckeweg as an extension of classic Homoeopathy. It is the area of study that is based on the belief that diseases are caused by toxins originating inside or outside the body. Examples of external toxins are bacteria,metals such as mercury, micro-organisms in the gut, hormone replacement therapy, antibiotics and chemical pollutants. Internal toxins are generated by the body. They are either are biologically derived, or result from post-traumatic cellular debris.

Homotoxicological products are designed to facilitate the body’s elimination of toxins. It generally uses formulations which contain measurable amounts of homoeopathically prepared active ingredients and are used to treat specific conditions. They are often presented to the body in the same dilution ratio as inter cellular fluids. Homotoxicological treatment has been used successfully in chronic diseases, inflammatory conditions, rheumatoid arthritis, allergies and food intolerances.

What is involved in a treatment programme?
Firstly an initial consultation is necessary to discuss the nature of the presenting problem. Then, depending on factors unique to each individual case, a treatment plan is prescribed. This may typically include 15-20 minute Biopuncture treatments at weekly intervals for up to 10 weeks, and one or more Homotoxicological medicines to be taken concurrently.
